Rednecks Gone Fishin'
Maverick is feeling some better and is about one day away from finishing his meds, so we loaded up the truck
and headed out to my Mom and stepDad's house to fish in their pond in the cool evening after if rained. We were too late to buy any real bait anyplace so we stopped at a convenience store for a cheap pack of hot dogs (wieners). We had a couple stowaways.........
(Pepper Anne and Lexie.....and Lexie is ready for a home now if anyone is interested!), and really did more untangling lines and baiting hooks than we did actually fishing...but in the end it was worth it.
We had a great time, here are a few that Maya and I caught,
and Adam caught a big bass but we missed the photo op, sorry. We threw them all back, it was all in good fun anyway and came back the next day to actually eat some big catfish that my siblings had caught at Lake Weiss last weekend.

I am SOOOOO jealous! I can't wait to go fishin again. I hope this week sometime. Bought a new reel and some new lures I'm anxious to see if they trick these bass! I NEED another 9 lber to bite me LOL Not much better fun than fishing in a farm pond.
YaY, SOME FISH! Riding_Hood
@UnworthyofHisgrace - Well I knew that you would be right here if I mentioned fishin'.......speaking of buying new tackle, we had to take my Mawmaw to Dick's sporting goods to look for a small extendible fishing pole that she can take in her saddle bag. We found one, not the one she wanted, but she bought it anyway in case she can't find anything else......good luck with that 9 pounder, and of course if you do catch it you won't have a pic either....dang fish stories!!!
@Riding_Hood - The kids always yell, Yeah I got one, really loud every time they get one...one of these days they will learn that the fish like the peace and quiet as much as the next guy!!
lol! Good luck with that! I like to fish too. Hugs, R. Hood
